Getting Started with DocNet
This section covers the basics of our agreement. By using our services, you're agreeing to these terms. We're committed to providing you with excellent Internet, TV, Phone, and Security services.
Acceptance of Terms
Your use of any DocNet service constitutes your full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
Services Provided
We provide a variety of telecommunication and security services. The specific details of your plan (like speed and features) are in your Service Agreement. We reserve the right to modify services with reasonable notice.
Your Role as a Customer
This section outlines your responsibilities to ensure a safe, legal, and fair experience for everyone. This includes how you use the service and take care of any equipment.
User Responsibilities
- Lawful Use: Use our services only for legal purposes.
- No Resale: You cannot resell DocNet services without our written consent.
- Security: You are responsible for securing your own devices and network.
- Account Info: Keep your account details accurate and secure.
Equipment
You are responsible for the proper care of all equipment we provide. If equipment is leased, it must be returned in good condition when your service ends to avoid replacement fees.
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
While our residential and business plans are "unlimited," usage must be reasonable. Usage consistently over 3 Terabytes (TB) per month is considered excessive and may result in a warning or service termination.
Furthermore, these plans are not for high-demand activities like hosting servers or crypto mining. A dedicated service plan is required for such uses.
Billing, Service, and Termination
Here you'll find details on payments, what to expect from our service performance, and the process for ending your service agreement.
Billing and Payment
You agree to pay all charges as outlined in your Service Agreement. Payments are due on the date on your invoice. Late payments may lead to service suspension and fees.
Service Level and Liability
Service is provided "as is." We can't guarantee uninterrupted performance, especially when issues arise from our network carriers. In case of an outage, we commit to assessing the issue within 24 hours.
Termination of Service
We may suspend or terminate service for reasons like non-payment or breach of terms. You may terminate your services as specified in your individual Service Agreement.
The Fine Print
This section contains important legal details regarding liability and the governing law for our services and this agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocNet is not liable for indirect damages like loss of profits or data resulting from service use or outages.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
